Serebra Learning Corporation (formerly known as FirstClass Systems Corporation until October 2001) was formed in 1987, and quickly became a leading North American developer and distributor of e-learning solutions. The commitment of the company was then as it is today: to provide instructionally superior education and training to anyone, anytime, anywhere through the innovative use of technology.
From its inception, the company has been in the pre-packaged computer based training ("CBT") business, developing and selling its own CBT and selling those developed by third parties. These products are available for distribution via the Internet and via CD for installation by the customer at the customer's location.
Serebra also undertakes research and development of CBT, with an on-going commitment to its advancement over the past number of years. With the advent of the Internet, the company developed "FCS WorldNet" (now "Cortex"), a business-to-business solution, and "goFCS.com" (now "Cobra sites"), a business-to-consumer solution including e-commerce. Development of both technologies continues under the Macromedia ColdFusion development technology.
